Originally I was going to use a piece similar to 'Into Dust by Mazzy Star' because I thought it made this trailer very effective.
Then I decided to use a rock song as many superhero trailers feature more heavy music. An example is 'Cosmic Egg by Wolfmother' in the Green Lantern trailer.
My friend and I crafted a rock song using a program called Cubase 5. It is a track that cosists of two guitar voices, guitar licks, an underlying bass line and a drum beat. The music track can be heard in my final trailer.
